1. Free initial consultation
Come and see us for a free consultation with our treatment coordinator.
You’ll meet one of our experienced treatment coordinators and be able to ask any questions you have about the orthodontic treatment we offer at East Midlands Orthodontics. We will discuss your teeth straightening options and find the best solution for you.
2. Orthodontist appointment
After your initial consultation with our treatment coordinator, you’ll be booked in for a paid consultation with Dr Wood - our specialist orthodontist.
This appointment will cost £75 and in the same visit, you’ll receive a full examination, you'll chat with our treatment coordinator about the details of your treatment plan created by Dr Wood, and discuss your payment and finance options.
3. Bespoke treatment plan
Your comprehensive treatment plan will be tailor made for your unique orthodontic needs based on your dental health, oral scans, and previous discussions with Dr Wood.
You can expect to receive step-by-step guidance on your treatment journey with us, from your orthodontic fitting appointment right through to after your treatment has ended.
Your smile makeover
Depending on what Dr Wood has prescribed in your bespoke treatment plan, you’ll then have your braces or Invisalign aligners fitted and embark on your orthodontic treatment journey with East Midlands Orthodontics!

Tips for a successful orthodontic treatment
Orthodontic treatment is a great investment for you or your family, and it’s important you follow your treatment plan and do everything you can to ensure a smooth orthodontic journey.
Invisalign
Wear your aligners for 22 hours every day, unless you're eating
Brush and floss everyday to keep your teeth and gums healthy
Clean your aligners daily to get rid of any food and bacteria
Rinse your mouth after eating to avoid staining your aligners
Braces
Thoroughly brush your teeth after every meal to avoid trapped food
Floss between your braces at least once a day to keep gums healthy
Don’t attempt to adjust your braces yourself – this can be dangerous!
